Re: Appointment of Chairperson and Deputy
Chairperson to the School District No. 43
Joint Family Division Committee.

The Joint Family Division Committee of School District No. 43
held elections at their March 1977 meeting for the position of Chairperson
and Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for 1977.

The following persons have been selected and the Committee
recommends appointment of these persons by the three Municipal Councils;

Chairperson - Alderman B. T. H. Robinson
Deputy Chairperson —- Doreen Kenmuir

The Provincial Court Act, making necessary the establishment
of a Family Division Committee, requires under Section 18¢3) that the
appointment of a Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson be made by the
Municipal Council and therefore ratification by all three Councils of
the two persons selected by the Committee is required.
