Borch: Linceln Avenue In our review of Rte. 7 Lougheed and {ta role and in our consideration of the proposed shoppirg centers at Shaughnessy and at Pinetree Way and in looking at development trends North of Rte. 7, it is evident that additional local major urban street capacity in the East West axis is essential. It was envisaged that Lincoln Avenue from Coast Meridian west across Coquitlam River to a new major street north of Glen Drive would fill this role. Under current policies we would be able ta recommend that che Department participate financially in the cost of the bridge structure over the Coquitlam River. We are at the point where it is most desirable that Council express its position on this point so that further planning and deaign can proceed, May I please have your views, Yours truly, MGEstu M. G. Ulmer Works & Utilities Superintendent Februsry 2, 1974 RE: Sign Shop Report In this report I will try and point out the advantages of having our ow sign shop vith regard to the convenience and financial benefits, Although sone of the financial benefits will take a couple of yeara to the point whers we will benefit financially, the end result will be that we will have s Sign Shop and FEquipeent. Also with a fully equipped sign shop, we will be able to produce any signs that we will require. I feel that we will aleo be able to maintain our existing signs better if ve can do thie in our own shop.
