CORPORATION OF THE CITT OF PORT COQUIITAM PARES & RECREATION COMMITTEE A meeting of & the Parks & Recreation Committee was held in Parks Recreation Office on Wednesday, February 21, 1990 at 1:00thep.m. In attendance were Alderman Mike Gates and Alderman George Laking. Also in attendance was K. Janna Tayloz, Parks & Recreation Director. Item No. 1 Shimizu Sawmill — Landscaping Request The Parks & Recreation Director went over the two developments that are being proposed by Shimizu. first site is known as the I-line site, in this proposal they are requesting that we participate in the landscaping along the dyke . In the sawmill proposal there is concern because we do not own the dyke and we need to have an easement on the dyke. Committee members were concerned about the landscaping in regards to the site and have requested some clarification. The Recommendation ihat a further report be forthcoming from the Pazks Recreation Director. & Carried Item No. 2 Angelo Avenue — Trees The Parks & Recreation Director indicated that the propezty in question on Angelo Avenue for tree zemoval was incorrect in the first time it was brought to Committee. Therefore we are now dealing with the request of the triangular piece of land and the costing is being done. Recommendation: That the report be received.
