In summary, Port Moody charges a higher rate for skate rentals and
does not charge the schools for ice time. Coquitlam on the other
hand, charges a lower rate for skate rentals but also collects an
hourly rental fee. Port Coquitlam currently charges a very low skate
rental fee to schools and does not charge anything for ice time.

We would jike to start to address this imbalance. We have approached
the District 43 representative and they have indicated that they do
not have an objection to us increasing the cost of renting skates to
$0.75 for the 1991 - 1992 school year.
