SUBJECT; 1991 CAPITAL PROJECT — LANGAN AVEQUE EXTENSION
(Public Works Cammittee Meeting of March 26, 1991)

Recomentiation:

l. That the Langan Avenue Extension be approved as a 1991 Capital
Project based on an estimated cost of $190,130.

2. That $190,130 be allocated from the Land Sales Reserve Fund for’
this purpose.

Background & Comments: .

The Public Works Committee considered the attached memorandum from the Project
Engineer regarding the design and construction of the Langan Avenue Extension,

This project. involves the construction of approximately 105 lineal metres of
roadway including drainage, curb and gutter, and storm sewers.

This project which connects Langan to Kingsway would improve safe traffic
circulation and was a condition ef land sale (Lot 54).
