RECOMMENDATION:

It is recommended that the Municipal Clerk be instructed to prepare a

bylaw to amend the Official Community Plan, to include the following text in
Chapter "V. Development Permit Areas", Section "9. Development Permit Areas
Designation":

2.8

"Riverwood." Develoment Permit Area "VIII"

This area is designated as a Development Permit Area for the
establishment of ohjectives and the provision of guidelines for tie
form and character of commercial and multi-family development.

Boundaries:

A line drawn on the southern boundary of Cedar Drive right-of-way from
the center line of Coast Meridian Road, East to the center line of the
Carter Street right-of-way; thence South, on the center line of Carter
Street right-of-way to the southern boundary of Lot 119, Plan 32559
NWD; thence East, on the Southern boundary of Lot 119, Plan 32559 NWD
to the eastern boundary of Lot 119 Plan 32559 NWD; thence North on the
eastern boundary of Lot 119 Plan 32559 NWD to the center line of
Prairie Avenue; thence East on the center line of Prairie Avenue to the
alignment of the eastern boundary of Lot 1 Plan 9164 NWD; thence South
on the eastern boundary of Lot 1 Plan 9164 NWD to the northern boundary
of Lot A Plan 5345 NWD; thence East on the northern boundary of Lot A
Plan 5345 NWD to the center line of the Fremont Street right-of-way ;
thence South on the center line of the Fremont Street right-of-way to
