Sanders - Bank Protection - Hyde Creek With reference to the application dated May 2, 1980, Fish and Wildlife Management has no obdjections ta the proposed work subject to the following conditions: 1) The rip rap protectlon should be only carried past the house foundation to the point of the first large boulder. The bank downstream of this area appears to be well vegetated and stable. There is & covenant on this property and the property to the north. Any works should respect the purpose of the covenant and only work necessary to protect the bank adjacent to the house should be permitted. Moving and placing of materials should be completed in a manner that will minimize damage to stream vegetation. We have no objections to hand placement of rip-rap or a combination of gablons and tiprap. Any use of machinery in the covenant should be pre-approved by K. Johansen of Fisherles and Oceans or the undersigned. All work must be undertaken and compieted In such a manner so as to prevent the release of silt, raw concrete or concrete leachate, or other deleterinus substances into downstream reaches of the watercourse. - All work is to be undertaken and completed In isolation of all flowing water. lf water Is diverted eway from the work area, then a fish salvage of the work area will be required. Any materials, such as riprap or gablon rock, placed within the average high water mark of tha watercourse, must be free of silt, overburden, debris or other substances deleterious to aquatic life. All work within the wetted perimeter and disturbance to the stream bed and banks must be undertaken and completed during the period of July 15 to September 15, 1990. ITEM na
