Province of British Columbia Government Gouvernement of Canada du Canada March 17, 1989 R. A. Freeman City Clerk Office of the City Clerk 2580 Shaughnescy Street Port Coquitlam, B.C. V3C 2A8 Dear Mr. Peters: It has come to the attention of the Environmental Review that the District of Port Coquitlam is considering the re~zoning of Lots 1 and 2, Plan 6358: lying south of the highway shown on Statutory Right-of-way Plan 68301 (Mary Hill Bypass) in District Lot 232, Group one, New Westminster District; located at 1848- 1850 Argue Street, from C~l (Corner Store) to WD (Waterfront Comprehensive Development) to permit development of a proposed 18 unit multiple family residential development. The Committee has no comments to make regarding the proposed re- zoning as it affects the upland involved. However, we wish to point out that the river foreshore on the wetted side of the dyke initiatives arising from the re~zoning which may adversely affect the productivity of this habitat would not be favourably considered by this Committee during the course of the required FREMP review. You may wish to incorporate the above constraint into your consideration of this re-zoning application. Yours truly, P\ . C. Donen Adrian C.
