January lith, 1988 /013 From the Director of Community Planning, January 4th, 1988 regarding zoning Bylaw Text Amendment Duplex Zoning Regulations. Moved by Alderman Farnworth: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That City Council direct the Clerk's Office to prepare a bylaw amending the Zoning Bylaw No. 2240 revising the regulations for duplex buildings. Amendments to be made include: Dwelling Unit definition - deleting "family" Lot definition - adding "and excluding other parcels created by Strata Title Subdivision under the Condominium Act. A new Section 503 (3) Accessory Buildings. Accessory Buildings are permitted in all Zoning Districts subject to height, setback and other regulations of the individual zones. A new Section 509 General Regulations which reads; Where a Building and surrounding land is subdivided under the Condominium Act, the regulations of this bylaw shall be applied as if the Strata Subdivision had not taken place, ~ Amendment to Section 804, the RT-1 Zone . Add a regulation (7) all dwelling Units must be contained within a Single building and have a common wall or foundation Amendment to Section 801 the RS-1 Zone, 802 the RS-2 Zone, the RS-3 Zone and 804 the RT-1 Zone deleting "Accessory Residential", Carried.
