Re: Truck Rodeo Parachute Jump

Sirs This will confirm our telephone conversation of

9 May 1984 regarding an exhibition parachute jump into
the annual B.C. Truck Rodeo being held in your city on
3 June 1984.

The Valkyrie Skydiving Team plans to jump from an altitude
of 8500', freefalling to 2500! pefore’ opening parachutes.

All four team members will be trailing smoke so as to be
‘visible from the ground. These four members will form up
together in the air in a predetermined formation before
separating to open their parachutes. Also on the jump
will be a fifth member who will be taking photographs.

I solicit permission fromthe city officials to make this
exhibition parachute decent.

RECOMMENDATION :

THAT the Municipal Council approve the
request of Valkyrie Skydiving Team to
have.an exhibition parachute jump on
the vicinity of the C.P. Trucking on
Kingsway on June 3rd, .
