Sprinkling Regulations

The new 18" watermain should be completed to the pump station
by the end of this week. and therefore we do. not expect a reoccurence of
the water shertage that occured in Mary Hil] in 1977.

Nevertheless, the G, Vv. R.D. predicts low reservoirs this year
and the present hot spell has already shown reduced water pressures. A711
residents will benefit from controlled sprinkling.

I therefore request that Council approve the attached sprinkling
regulations for the summer months with notices to be advertized in the
Columbian and Herald newspapers.
