Visiting this camp not only gave me the chance to meet many new people from both Canada and _the USA and talk about their goals, and what they want from life, but it also gave me the op- portunity to listen to seven speakers. The speakers ranged from a judge of the Superior Court in What- com County, an editor of the Bellingham Herald, advertising agency representatives, - to the all-important com- puter operators or .pro- grammers. The camp had many activities to fill visitor’s free time. A swimming pool was used to cool off - in after sunbathing in the 90-degree sun. Most of the group spent time in — the.sun getting to know one another. All the speakers were reassuring. They made it clear that if people set goals, they will succeed. I would like to thank the Terrace Rotary Club for giving me the oppor- tunity to make new friends, and to learn some valuable hints from professionals and representatives in the business sector.
