South Shaughnessy Coucept Plan

RECOMMENDATION :

That Council pass a resolution approving the amendments to the South
Shaughnessy Concept Plan shown on the attached drawing titled “South
Shaughnessy Concept Plan", dated June 23, 1994.

BACKGROUAD AND DISCUSSION:

Prior to the development of the Shaughnessy Woods Subdivision, the Municipal
Council approved a concept plan for the South Shaughnesay area.

The approved concept plan is shown in the attached drawing titled “Original
Concept Plan".

Due to a number of constraints and opportunities presented over time, such as
the need to relocate the access to the Indian Reserve, the location of a "mini
park" at the West end of Nucht Avenue, the sale of some Municipal land in the
Northside of the area and the reshaping of the parkland resulting from this, a
number of amendments have been introduced.

The attsched South Shaughnessy Concept Plan, June 23, 1994 Summarize the
changes to date. oe

It is, cherefore in order for Council to pass a resolution approving the
revigd concept plan to provide certainty as to the development of the balance

of these lands.
