Carried, From the Planning and Zoning Comaittee, January 31st, 1980 recommending P & Z Comn., that rezoning application, R#29-79, to rezone the property at 1672 Jan. 31/80 re R#29-79 Prairie Avenue from RS~l to RS=1A to allow the subdivision of the property - 1672 Prairie into two lots, be denied. Moved by Alderman Ranger: Seconded by Alderman Wright: That as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Committee, January 31st, 1980 rezoning application, R#29-79, to rezone the property at 1672 Prairie Avenue from RS-l to RS-1A to allow the subdivision of the property into two lots, be dented. Aldermen Ranger and Wright voted in favour of the resolution. Prior to the question being called on the foregoing resolution discussion ensued and Alderman Ranger gave an explanatton of the RS=1A zone and the City Plunner explained the application stating the houss would have to be moved before the property could be subdivided. The owner was present and advised he would be moving the house.
