~ Yo Yet, while certain City Council members did not, according to very reliable sources, even know GVRD was coming until the preceding Friday afternoon, when Agendas were given out, or even as late as Saturday evening; while the general public, much less all the residents in and on the borders of the land area in dispute , and even less the 75 petitioners in favour of agricultural retention, did not know and were not informed GVRD was coming to this Council meeting of April 14, a few property owners in the area, in favour of a change to industrial designation, knew very well of GVRD's coming and had submitted, to be included in that April 14's meeting, a 20-name petition and sheaths of letters in support of their interests, When only a privileged few are told, or know, about Council discussions coming up, it is bound to result in a biased presentation before Council, and any other attending bodies, such as GVRD, By fluke, some of us found out GVRD was going to be there, at Council meeting, April 14, just after Friday noon.
