Re: -Re-routing of Traffic on Western Drive a

I am very concerned about the continuing problem of speeding vehicles
‘on Western Drive. As you are aware.we have in the past looked at solutions to

the problem. I would like to suggest that a possible solution may be the

re-routing of traffic to Mary Hill Road by way of Thea.

"L Move that a temporary closure of Western Drive at Thea be
implemented for a trial period of one month, beginning on Thursday, May Ist

“until Monday, June 2nd, 1975."

This would te an experiment and should be treated in the same light
7 as it would be treated if it was necessary to de extensive road work on Western

» Drive North of Thea. .
. , I am asking the Clerk to place this on the Agenda for April 14th as
o a "Notice of Motion" to be formally made ‘the following week; _thus giving the

- Council time to examine my proposal carefully before bringing ‘it to a vote.
