THE PACE of construction
in Terrace picked up in
June, with more than $1.5
million in building permits
issued.

That was way ahead of
the $135,000 in June of
2002.

The total for the year to

$4.1 million.

year, the city approved
more than $10 million
worth of construction -
most of that due to the
construction of the new
Skeena Jr. Secondary
