Alter the war, when Roy received his discharge, he trelumed to B.C. and worked in the logging industry. Roy was a certified yard- ing engineer, or as they called it, a donkey puncher. Roy eventually moved to Kitimat for a few years, then came to Terrace to live. He worked for Columbia Cell as a faller until his tetirement in 1981. Roy and his wife [rene came to Terrace from Kitimat and bought their home at the corner of Waish Amsterdam is very proud of. and Eby (3402 Eby St) They bought their home from Minnie and John Loen. They had a large flower garden and planted fruit trees; some of their plum and cherry trees are still there. Roy’s first wife Irene passed away in Terrace and they had no children.
