The review will provide the Chief Forester with information to determing harvesting levels that are environmentally sound and that ensure the sustainability of B.C.'s forests. The discussion paper summarizes the two technical reports — timber supply analysis and socioeconomic assessment — and identifies the critical areas of public concern in an understandable manner. Public input on the discussion paper is welcome and will be considered by the Chief Forester before the allowable annual cut (AAC) is determined far the TSA.
