Kirk March 21, 1990 City Adminstrator Riverwood Project Carlos Felip Director of Planning Riverwood Plan - Implementation (Riverwood Steering Committee ~ March 27, 1990) That Council approve in principle an amendment to Schedule "B” of the Official Community Plan, as per the attached Drawing Number "1"; That Council gives notice that it intends to pass a resolution adopting the Riverwood Area Control Plan prepared for the Municipality by Hamilton and Associates (Drawing No. 2); That the area generally bounded by Coast Meridian Road, Cedar Drive Right of Way, Prairie Avenue, proposed future alignment of Freemont Street and Dominion Avenue, shown in the attached Drawing Number "3", be declared a Mandatory Development Permit area for Multi-Family and Commercial uSeS$ That Council approve in principle an amendment to Section 4.2.2 "Matching Growth With Services”, subsection (1)(a) of the Official Community Plan to read: “Development of new areas for housing or apartments must proceed in an orderly manner. Leap~frogging or inefficient use or extension of Municipal infrastructure and services must be discouraged”; That Council approve in principle an amendment to Schedule “B" of the Official Community Plan to erase the now obsoiete numbers identifying “Development Stages"; That a Public Information Meeting on 1 to 5 above be held at an early date; That Council reaffirm notice that rezoning and development of any of the properties within the study area will require completion and acceptance by Council of a conceptual master servicing plan for the North Fast Sector. | *COUNCIL*
