From the City Clerk, August 22nd, 1978 advising of the completion
of the installation of services to the Woodside Estates Development and
requesting that the blanket Right-of-Way over the property to the north
now occupied by the Greater Vancouver Regional District's Meridian
Village Housing Development be released in return for a Right~of—Way

covering the specific area in which the Pipes are located.

That the Right-of-Way over Lot 402 of the South West Quarter of
Section 6, Towehip 40, Plan 48587, New Westminster District in favour
of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and registered in the
New Westminster ‘Land Registry Office under No. F41542 be and the same is
hereby discharged and released;

AND THAT His Worship the Mayor and City Clerk be authorized to

“execute the necessary release documents on behalf of the City and affix

the Corporate Seal thereto."

From the Recreation Director, August 28th, 1978 advising that the
Lower Mainland Advisory Board Meeting will be held on Wednesday, September
27th, 1978 in the Lounge at Hyde Creek Centre.

NEW BUSINESS:

Alderman Keryluk advised there is a joint meeting of the Community
Development Committee and the Industrial Association in the Council
Chambers on Wednesday, September 13th, 1978 at 3:00 p.m.

Alderman Keryluk asked if installation of the pedestrian light at

Flint and Prairie was proceeding and the City Engineer advised there

would be a delay of approximately 10 to 14 weeks due to delay in arrival of t

poles,

That the principal of Viscount Alexander Elementary School be
notified of the delay in arrival of the poles necessitating delay of
installation of the pedestrian activated traffic light at Flint Street
and Prairie Avenue.
