Prior to defeat of the foregoing resolution, a further discussion ensued, and Aiderman Traboulay suggested that the Council meet with the G.V.R.D. on his pro- posal as scon as possible; however, Alderman Ranger commented this woulddefeat the whole purpose of the exercise, which is to provide housing at a price people can @ escora. Alderman Keryluk suggested that the motion preposed by Alderman Traboulay was out of order; however, Mayor Campbell ruled it to be in order, and commended Alderman Traboulay for putting forth:a positive suggestion. Aldert.an Ranger sta- ted he would support a motion instructing the Administration to do a feasibility study on Alderman Traboulay's suggestion and then propose to the G.V.R.D. that the City would be willing to lease the land at cost for housing.
