FIELD SUPERVISOR (road and cutblock layout)

This is a full-time permanent staff position.

Reporting to tha Area Operalions Forester, you wil! be raspon-
sible for the field supervision of road and cut-bleck layout to
ensure that logging plans meat company environmental and
operational objectives. Duties will also include supervision of
crushing, callation of stumpage appraisal and site assessment
data, and assistance in development planning.

Qualifications: You must be a graduate of an accredited for-
estry program al either a technical school or university level.
You should have a minimum of twa years of field experience
in layout of roads and fogging settings in roastal terrain.

ASSISTANT MAPPING TECHNICIAN

This is a full-time tamporary pasition for a one year term and
will invelve working on an afternaon/evening shift.

Reporting to the staff Mapping Technician, your duties will be
primarily the production of maps for the Woods Department
using MIGROSTATION software. Related duties will include
manual drafting, maintenance of mapping filas, and assisting
in the production of various forest planning documents.
Qualifications: You shouid be a graduate of a technical school
program In computer assisted drafting. You should be profi-
cient at computer drafting, preferably with MIGROSTATION.
Proficiency in manual drafting, EXCEL spreadsheets and
knowledge of foresiry mapping standards would be definite
assets.
