The team record stood at 11 wins and eight losses prior to -the start .of play in the smail college Totem Con- ference. Included in the Totem Conference are teams from Vancouver City Col- lege, Douglas College, Cariboo. College at Kam- loops, Malaspina College, Trinity Western at Lang- ley, and Capilano College. On the Capilano star- ting five is Jaci’s former teammate, Caroline Hen- dry who is being touted for a possible league all- star spot. Sherri Trudeau is an- other former Kermode who sees action on the first-string of Langara College. — Val Philpott, the out- standing Kermode of last - season is in her first year at the University of British Columbia. Her talent has earned her the number two guard position on the — school’s number one team — the Thunderettes. Another stalwart from last season is Leona Tank. She moved on to Grande Prairie Regional College where she’s the first string point guard, She has al- ready won # first all-star award at one of her team’s tournament. Tank also paced the team as high: ‘scorer on several occa- sions, Karen McConnell, a Kermode grad from three years back is now playing at University of .Leth-— bridge.. McConnell went to Victoria University two years ago. She sat out on her second. year and played on the Victoria team that won the B.C. Senior Ladies’ Champion- ship. She then transferred to Lethbridge starting last fall.
