Moved by Alderman Muldoon: Seconded by Alderman Gates: Be it resolved that the Port Coquitlam bridge over Kingsway Avenue be carefully and thoroughly examined and a report made to Council with utmost speed on its safety, with recommendations of any needed action on Council's we urge the Provincial Government to inspect carefully and thoroughly the two bridges in Port Coquitlam for which they are responsible, namely Lougheed Highway over Coquitlam River and Lougheed Highway over Pitt River, with a report very soon to City Council. Moved by Alderman Muldoon: Seconded by Alderman Laking: That the Building Bylaw be amended to include a fee for Fire Department Lock Boxes used for apartment and other buildings to which the Fire Department need access. From the Fire Chief, October 28th, 1982 regarding demolition of buildings for training purposes, Moved by Alderman Muldoon: Seconded by Alderman Mabbett; That the Port Coquitlam Fire Department be allowed to used buildings that are up for demolition, for training purposes, after legally receiving permission from the owner.
