RECOMMENDATION :

That we purchase the fertilizer spreader from Avenue Farm at
$2,846.20.

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS :
Normally the Parks & Recreation Department would not be asking for
early budget. approval of equipment; however, our parks crews
presently do not have any kind of fertilizer spreader and in order
for us to continue with the spring maintenance of the grass areas,
we desperately need the fertilizer spreader. The capital budget
does include a fertilizer spreader at a cost of $3,000. The tender
was. sent to thirteen companies and we received tenders. from two
companies. Please see attached.
