A regular meeting of the Municipal Council of The Corporation
of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Counci! Chamber,
Port Coquitlam City Hal! on Monday, July 25th, 1983 at 7:30 p.m,

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboulay, Aldermen M.D. Gates, D.J.
Vater and M.R. Wright in attendance.

Atso in attendance were Acting City Administrator and City
Engineer F.E. Peters, P. Eng., City Cierk R.A. Freeman, Director
of Community Planning W. Brown, and Parks and Recreation Director
K.J. Taylor.

ZONING PUBLIC HEARING:

His Worship Mayor L.M. Traboultay advised the following
proposed Bylaws to.amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw
1979, No. 1651" would now be considered.

Bylaw No. 1987:

To remove the Zone Designation of RS-2 assigned to the area
shown on a plan of proposed subdivision of a portion of Lots 1 and
2, Plan 1163; Lots 3 and 4, Plan 8034; and a portion of Lot "Al,
Block 55, Plan 5854; and Lot "G", Plan 7105; District Lot 232,
Group One, New Westminster District prepared by V.C. Gouda! &
Associates Ltd. and shown on Drawing No. C~3507-83C dated June
14th, 1983 (revised July 4th, 1983) and to apply the following

_ Zone Designations:

a) RS-1 to Lots 1-16, inclusive; Lots 18-89, inclusive, and Lot
91, as shown on the pian of proposed subdivision aforesaid; and,

b) -RS-1A to Lot 17, Lot 90.and Lots 92-101, inclusive.

This property is located between Pitt River Roiad and Brown
Street and between the B.C. Hydro Right-of-Way and Harbour Street
and is being rezoned to permit the subdivision thereof into 101
separate parcels which will be used as sites for single family
dwellings.

No one was present to speak at the Public Hearing.

Bylaw No. 1988:

To remove the Zone Designations presently applied to pruperty
specified in the Bylaw in the "South Mary Hili" area and to assign
the Zone. Designations of A2, RS1, RSIA, RS2, RMI, RM2, RM35, RM4,
C1, C3, Pt and P2 in accord with a rezoning plan prepared by
"Genstar Land Development" and indicated on its June, 1983 Drawing
No. 720-191 (Revision 3) dated July 4th, 1983.
