Prior to passage of the foregoing resolution Alderman Ranger inquired
regarding off-site servicing and the amount of road improvements which
the developer would be responsible for and Alderman Mabbett advised
Westminster Avenue would be {mproved to the lane east of Oxford Street
and Alderman Keryluk pointed out that Oxford Street would be widened and
improved adjacent to the development as far as Westminster Avenue.

WHEREAS by By-law No, 1737 of The Corporation of the City of Port
Coquitlam elted aw the “Coquitlam Avenue Plan 1317 and Plan 2225 Road
Closure By-law, 1980, No. 1737", certain portflons of road dedteated by

Plan 1317 and Plan 2225 therein desersbed located in the Clty of Port

Coquitlam in the Province of British Columbia were stopped up and clored

to traffies

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk of The

Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam be authorized to petition the
Minister of Munieipal Affairs of the Prevines of British Columbla praying
on behalf of the City for abandonment of che said portions of Road

dedleated by Plan 1317 and Plan 2225 desertbed in By-Law No. 1737 and

the vesting of the title of the dand compriniapg the same in The Corporation

of the City of Port Coquitlam,
