Homestake Canada Ltd., a sub- sidiary of. Homestake Mining Company, gained that litle by ae- quiring International Corona in the summer. That gave them control of the , Eskay Creck gold property south of the Iskut -Vatley.and a 20 per cent position in the Cominco- owned Snip gold mine in the Is- : kut Valley. Homeslake already has an a3 per cent ownership position in the Golden Bear mine west of Dease American Metals.
