Youth babysitting course offered by Denise Coulter Terrace contributor TERRACE — The local Kinette Club will be sponsoring the Red Cross Youth Babysitting Course for any boys and girls 12 years of age prior to April 30, 1986. The course will be held at Clarence Michiel Elementary School on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:45 p.m. to 5 p.m., April 15 to May 6. This course is open to any boys and girls in the Terrace/Thornhill area. The course covers Child Care, First Aid, Child Safety and Child Behavior, with guest speakers conducting each session. For students to receive a Babysitting Certificate, they must attend all ses- sions and pass a written test. A fee of $2.00 and birth certificates must be brought to the first class to register.
