PERMIT FEES AND INSPECTION CHARGES

PERMIT FEES

1.1 Every applicant for a building permit, building moving permit or sign permit shaJi
pay fees calculated as follows, prior to the issuance of the permit.

$ 1. 4,700 $ 50.00

$ 4,701- 5,000 $ 1.12 per $100.00 value

$ 5,001 - 20,000 $ 11.20 plus $ 9.00 per $1,000.00 value
$ 20,001 - 50,000 $ 56.00 plus $ 6.75 per $1,000.00 value
$ 50,001 - 500,000 $134.00 plus $ 5.25 per $1,000.00 value
$500,001 - and over $696.00 plus $ 4.20 per $1,000.00 value
1.2 Permit fees will be rounded up to the nearest dollar.

1.3 A minimum fee of $50.00 is required for all typ<s of permits.

MICROFILMING FEES

In addition the following fees shall also be payable to assist in defraying the cost of
microfilming of plans:

2.1. for alterations under $5,000.00 a fee of $4.75;

2.2. for single family residential construction a fee of $11.10;
2.3. for all other types of construction a fee of $16.85;

2.4 for asign permit a fee of $11.10;

2.5 fora building moving permit a fee of $11.10.

CHIMNEY FEE

A permit fee of $20.00 shall be payable for each liquid or solid fuel burning chimney to be
constructed, altered or repaired, when included with the Bnilding Permit.
