Fifth, we are still plagued with the weed lot on the corner of Coquitlam and Cambridge. The owner of the property no longer cuts the grass and it is strewn with garbage and the local punks use it to hide in and drink and smoke marijauna. The ditch which is the problem of the city is usually loaded with garbage and shopping carts and smells like heck in the warm weather. Last year the owner of vacant lot put some kind of red ..:spound all over the place to kill the weeds and we all worried about being poisoned. This year he has done nothing and no one wants to phone vhe owner of the property on their own because he is so miserable to talk to. Sixth, we have two pieces of property directly behind 2036 Coquitlam avenue that are disgusting. They face Suffolk street. The houses are an eyesore and the one garage is falling down and covered with plastic , tar paper etc. There is always garbage all over the place. Between those houses and the one next door to us we have numerous dogs running all over tearing up the garbage. The pound never seems to be able to catch them in spite of the fact that the animals are never tied up or fenced in. Last of all between the problems of the arsonist, the juveniles, the drunks, the garbage, unmaintained properties and streets I would like you to put "some elbow grease" into these problems. This letter is not an effort to vent my frustrations only, I will be contacting you further if I don't see any improvements. Thank you. Yours truly, Barbara Krahenbil c.c. file
