BYLAW NO. 1966

A Bylaw to amend the "Hamilton Street (3600 Block) Pavement, Extruded Concrete
Curb and Storm Sewer Local Improvement Construction Bylaw, 1978, No. 1632".

The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open
meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

The "Hamilton Street (3600 Block) Pavement, Extruded Concrete Curb and Storm
Sewer Local Improvement Construction Bylaw, 1978, No. 1632" is amended by
repealing the sixth recital thereof.

Section 6 of the. Bylaw is repealed and the following substituted:

"6. (a) The owners share or portion of the cost shall be $13.75 per foot of

taxable foot~frontage of the parcels benefiting from or abutting on the work in
accordance with the provisions of the "Local Improvement Charge Bylaw, 1969, ‘Nos
912" and shall. be paid From the Local Improvement Fund of the City.

(b) The annual charge for each foot of taxable Foot-Frontage to be
specially charged against parcels benefiting from or abutting the work shall be
$2.29 for:.ten. years in accordance with the provisions of the "Local Improvement
Charge Bylaw, 1969, No. 912", and shall be imposed in accordance with the

provisions of the Municipal Act ‘and shall. be paid into the Local Improvement Fund

of the City."
Section 8 of the: Bylaw is repealed and the following. substituted:

"8. The City's share of the cost of the work shall. be. the balance of the cast
of the work over and above the owners’ portion of the cost and shall be paid From
the general revenue fund of the City cut of moneys appropriated therefore in the

annual budget - "

This Bylaw may be cited for all purposes as the "Hamilton Street (3600 Block)

Pavement, Extruded Concrete Curb and Storm Sewer Local Improvement Construction
