From the City Engineer, November 4th, 1986 regarding Amendment to

Tratfic Bylaw - Public Works Committee.

Moved by Alderman Gates:

Seconded by Alderman Stewart:

That Division 3 of Bylaw 1117 be retitled "Control of Traffic and
Signs" and the following provisions added:

306. No person shall erect or maintain a sign or arvertisement on or
over a highway other than an arterial highway by any means,
including placement, affixation or maintenance of a sign on. top
of a vehicle parked or stopped on a highway.

307. Any sign erected or maintained contrary to Section 306 of this
Bylaw may be altered, repainted, torn down or removed without
Compensaticr to any person for any loss or damage which results.

Defeated.
Alderman Stewart voted in
favour of the resolution.
