The report indicates that the applicant would require 40 parking spaces to meet the By-law requirements, however. in - view of the fact that the Applicant has secured a lease agreement on the property at the Northeast corner of Shaughnessy and McAllister in order to provide 19 parking stalls and further that except for Saturday and Sunday, parking is needed only the evening, the applicant has requested that the additional 21 stall requirement be waived. The Committee recommended that: 1. the request by Northwest Movies Ltd. to waive the requirements of parking for additional 21 cars be granted provided that: (a) the applicant agrees to the right of the City to use the lot during the day from Monday to Friday; (b) if at any time the lease agreement is terminated, alternate arrangement has to be made to provide parking for all 40 cars. 2. the City permit Northwest Movies Ltd. to use City parking during its normal business hours as a substitute for the balance of the parking requirement.
