Volunteers spent two Sunday evenings and two Mondays painting the back feature wall, painting and repairing plinths and other white walls, adding new shelves, installing brighter lights and generally perking things up in time for the Olympics. A huge thanks to Linda Lewis for securing a two-gallon donation of paint from Home Depot—a saving of $100—and my painting buddies: Sheila Morissette, Pia Sillem, Celia and Keith Rice-Jones. —Jinny Whitehead Recent work by Laura van der Linde, exhibiting in the Gallery for the month of July.
