He visited Kispiox, Skee- na Crossing and on Wednesday morning left for points west. Olof Hanson was in town on Wednesday. He has been around locking after his timber in the threatened by the bush fires the past week. He has arranged to get all the cars possible and ship every stick of timber that has been cut without further delay. There has been evidence since the First of May that some of the people in this districts were starting out with matches to ereate for themselves another summer’s work. ‘time for the forestry department to stop that kind of thing, not aftér the timber has been burned. A two hundred gallon tank has been installed at the tennis ‘court for the: purpose of supplying ‘water for the court, The source of supply for the tank will be the roof on the Assembly hall.
