SUBJECT: Development Variance Permit No. 31/89
for Citadel Heights, Experimental Housing.

RESOLUTION:

That as recommended by the Director of Community Planning in his
memorandum of May llth, 1989 a Voluntary Development Variance Permit be
approved relaxing the setback requirements for proposed Lots 1 through 26 of
Rem. Lot 9, DL. 232, 340, 341, 344 of Grp. 1, NWLD Plan 68514, as shown on
the table below.

AND THAT final approval be subject to registration of a restrictive
covenant and submission of a performance bond for landscaping.

BACKGROUND AND COMMENTS:

Pursuant to instructions issued by the Council at its meeting of
May 15th, 1989 the owners and residents of property surrounding the subject
property have been advised that Council are considering issuance of this
Voluntary Development Variance Permit at its meeting of June 13th, 1989.
Accordingly, at this time written or verbal submissions should be considered
by the Council and a decision reached as to whether or not the Development
Variance Permit should be issued.
