SUBJECT: LEGAL DESCRIPTION: BACKGROUND: RECOMMENDATION: Application to rezone 1477 Lougheed Hwy. from A-l to CD. Lot 1 of lot A of Sec. 6, 31k 6, Plan 8560, The subject rezoning application is to permit the development of a shopping centre. The site in question is roughly 5 1/2 acres in size. The proposed development will generate a total of 79, 5300 sq. ft. of retail floor area, CS-1 zoning is used as the guide for process- “ing this development. However, a few non-CS-1 uses have also been included as permitted uses (see attached list of uses) to make this development more viable. The Ministry of Highways has accepted this list of uses as the basis for future approval of the Zoning Bylaw. Highways has also approved the traffic circulation as shown on the site plan.
