Re: Public Health Inspector Appointment — Mr. B. Frice

Mr. Price has been appointed by the Health Ministry to fill the
Public Health Inspector vacancy created by the retirement of
Mr. M. Ratner.

Under Section 44 of the Health Act, municipalities appoint Public
Health Inspectors to carry out the requirements of the Health Act
and Regulations made pursuant to the Health Act in their area.
Mr. Price is qualified as outlined in Section 46 of the Health
Act and I therefore request that Mr. Price be appointed by the
City Council as a Public Health Inspector in the City of Port
Coquitlam.

Public Health Inspectors previously appointed and still on staff
are: Mr. Tom Moore, Mr. Steve Martin, Mr. Brian Nordin and Mr.
James Pannu.
