BY-LAW NO. 1296

A By-law to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Waterways Protection

1969, No. 917". The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City

Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows:

The "City of Port Coquitlam Waterways Protection By~law, 1969, No.

amended by adding, after Section 3, the following as Section 3A:

"3A.

No person being the

owner or occupier of lands shall suffer or

permit the fouling, obstruction or impeding cf the flow of any stream,

creek, waterway, watercourse, waterworks, ditch, drain or seer,

whether or not the same ave situate on private property."

This By~law may be cited for all purposes as the "City of

of any stream, creck, waterway, watercourse, waterworks, ditch, drain
or sewer wilhin the City.

WHEREAS it is deemed desirable and expedient to prohibit persons

from fouling, obstructing, or impeding the flow of any stream, creek,
waterway, watercourse, waterworks, ditch, drain or sewer within the

NOW THEREFORE pursuant to the powers vested in it by Section
S19 of the “Municipal Act” of the Province of Bri Cotumbia, 1960,

and amendiucsts thercty, the Municipal Council of ‘Phe Corporation of
the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as
