Mr. Thomson came to Terrace with a friend, Geoff Hamiin, in F915 to homestead on 10 acres of land ta the west of town. Mrs. Thomson, then Dorris Olaf- sen, followed a year later and the couple were e#arried in the coast city on the bride's birthday. Through the years the Hamlin and Thomson farm was well known thraughout the district for “top quality” produce, Mr. Hamlin passed away in 1960 end the Thomsons retired from business in 1963. They now live in a cozy cottage on Tuck Avenue, closer to town, but on the same street they started home- steading a half century ago, On Saturday, Mrs. Thomson also received “best wishes” on her 80th birthday.
