Each province, the Yukon and NWT had representatives attending so there were opportunities to hear of variations in the implementation of French immersion education in schools across Canada. The national newsletter has covered the conference highlights in the November issue. The BCPF committee who planned and organized the conference is to be congratulated on their choice of informative workshops and stimulating speakers. Thank you Jeanie Holt, Deanna Cazes, Penny Dubberly, Shirley Doyle, Ann Fila, Ann Jerome, Beverllie MacInnes, Paule Macdonald, Ola Nonen, Mary Reimer, Chris Robertson, and Elizabeth Ward.
