Extension of Eastbound Left-tur Lane - Proposal for Engineering Services

Further to our meeting on May 27, 1904 regarding tie extension of the eastbound left-tum lane
at the Intersection of Lougheed Highway and Coast Mericlan Road, we are pleased to submit

_ the follawing proposal for your consideration. in preparing this proposal, we have visited the site

and reviewed Citys letter to the Ministry dated April 8, 1994 and the accompany sketch plan

showing the extent of the roadwork. As weil, We have contacted Mr. David Lee-Young of the

7 Ministry and ft is our. understanding that the Mintatry dogs not require trattic signal or slactrical

~ ypgrading. The adjustment ter timing and cycle tength of the tratiic signal controfler wili be done

by the Ministry. The acope of the detailed deaign and construction management work forthe
* eft-tum lane extension will Include the following: |

Petallied Oesign

The review of existing Lougheed Highway ae-budt drawings.
Tha topographic survey for the purpose of design.
The datalled design of the left-turn taro geometry based on the approved preliminary
design plan (Caya Sketch Plan dated May 4, 194) including the associated road
drainage for Ministry's approval. |

Tha preparation of construction cost estimate based on the detailed dasign.
