BYLAW NO. 2622 A Bylaw to Amend the "Port Coquitlam zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240" “The Muniectpal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam, in open meeting assembled, enacts as follows: 1. Seetion 508 of the “Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1987, No. 2240" ia repealed and replaced by Sections 508 and 508A as followa: "508 PRINCIPAL RESIDENTIAL BUILDINGS Except as otherwise provided in this Bylaw, only one principal building used for residential purposes ja permitted on @ lot. CONSTRUCTION OF SUBSTITUTE DWELLING diana (L) Notwithstanding any other provision in this Bylaw, upon Siinat genau compliance with this section the owner of land in an Arl, RS«1, tase RS~2, or RS-3 zone may construct 4 new single-family dwelling on that land whtle that owner continues to occupy 42 axLating dwelling on the same lot. (2) Prior to issuance of a building permit for the new dwelling, the owner shall execute and register a covenant in favour of the City pursuant to Section 215' of the Land Title Act, prohibiting residential use of the existing dwelling upon occupancy of the , new dwelling and requiring demolition and removal of the existing dwelling within 21 days of occupancy of the new dwelling.
