Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Wright: It is recommended that Council pass the following resolution: Planning Department be authorized to prepare Development Variance Permit 2/90 subject to: Completion of Rezoning Application No. 57/89; The applicant providing appropriate security for the landscaping of the site in accordance with the landscaping plans approved by the Paris and Recreation Department. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Wright: That Council not approve the proposed amendment to Development Variance Permit No. 13/89. From the Director of Community Planning, February 13th, 1990 regarding Referral from Fraser River Harbour Commission ~ 1884 Argue Street. Moved by Alderman Keryluk: Seconded by Alderman Wright: 1. That the Fraser River Harbour Commission be informed that Council is currently reviewing its policies regarding use and access to rivers foreshore. Council therefore request that the commission hold this application in abeyance pending further input from Port Coquitlam; That. the Planning Department be instructed to, with the assistance of the Municipal Solicitors, review the Official Community Plan and the zoning bylaw, with a view to providing ways and means to regulate the use of the river for recreational or industrial uses, and to secure public access where appropriate; and The Planning Department be instructed to re-activate the work on the "Waterfront Commercial/Residential Study”.
