AND dated at Pore Coquitlam, British Columbia, this Sixth dsy of November, 1973, The Petition of the City of Pore Coquitian : HUMBLY SHOWETH: 1. That the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquiclam has by By-law No. 1282 cited as the “McKenzie Avenue Road Closure By-law, 1973, No. 1282" sropped up and closed to traffic a certain porcion of Road dedicated by Plan 1932 therein described; City Clerk 2. That the said By-law No. 1282 of Tha Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was reconsidered, finally passed and adopted by the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam on the Fifth day of November, 1973 and a duly certified copy is attacked hereto; 3. That the registered owners of all the adjoining and contiguous lands have consented to the closure of the said Portion of Road dedicated by Plan 1932 and The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has agreed to accept title to the land comprising che same; 4 That subject to the satisfactory completion of the Yequired statutory provisions The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam has agreed with the owner of the parcel of land lying immediately South of the portion of Road now sought to be abandoned that it will transfer title to the land comprising same to him in return for the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred ($2,590.00) Dollars; 5. That it is no longer necesaary to retain the said portion of Road dedicated by Plan 1932 in its original width of 66' as the said Road now more properly forms part of the lane systen of the City. and it is desirable to close the said portion of Road to provide the more convenient subdivision of the adjacent and contiguous land in accordance with a preplotting scheme approved by the City; 6. Thac by Resolution dated the Fifth day of November, 1973, the Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitiam authorized the presen- . tation of a Petition to the Lieutenant-Governer in Council praying for the abandonment of the said portion of Road dedicated by Plan 1932 ao stopped up and closed to traffic; . THEREFORE your Petitioner humbly praya for the abandonment of the said portion of Road dedicated by Plan 1932 described in By-law No. 1282 of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam and the vesting of title to the- land comprising es-.. in The Corporation of the City of Port Coqutitian.
