March 26th, 1984 /39 A regular meeting of the Municipal Counci! of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam was held in the Council Chamber, Port Coquitlam City Halli on Monday, March 26th, 1984, at 7:30 p.m. His Worship Mayor L.M, Traboulay, Aldermen M.C, Farnworth, M.D. Gates, J.J. Keryluk, G.R, Laking, W.W. Stewart and M.R. Wright in attendance, Also in attendance were City Administrator B.R. Kirk, City Clerk R.A. Freeman, Director of Community Planning W. Brown, and Parks & Recreation Director K.J. Taylor. ZONING PUBLIC HEARING: His Worship Mayor L.M, Traboulay advised the fol lowing proposed Bylaws to amend the "City of Port Coquitlam Zoning Bylaw, 1979, No. 1651" would now be considered: *BL/01/84/03/26/01 Bylaw No. 2015: To rezone Lot 769, Northeast Quarter, Section 6, Township 40, Plan 62094, New Westminster District, from RS-1 to RT-1. This property is located at 3334 Rae Street and it is expected that a two family dwelling (duplex) will be constructed on the property following completion of the rezoning procedures. Mayor Traboulay advised a fetter was received from J.F. & ALN. Pauker ~ March 23rd, 1984 expressing their opposition to the proposed rezoning. . The following people were present at the Zoning Public Hearing and expressed views generally opposed +o the proposed rezoning: Raymond J. Estate Agent, then explained the details of the building proposed if the RT-1 zone was approved and he advised that it was intended to Strata Title the property so that the duplexes would be independently owned.
