SUBJECT: Meédting Rooms — Terry Fox Library

RECOMMENDATION:

a) That the meeting rooms at the library be booked for meetings
only.

b) That the present rental policy for the PoCo Recreation
Centre and the Hyde Creek Centre be adopted for the library

rooms .
That the rental charge for one meeting room be:
A. Charges waived free

B. Nominal charge ~ $5.50 per hour

C. Basic charge - $11.00 per hour

D. Commercial - $16.00 per hour

That the rental charge for the large area (3 rooms) be;

A. Charges waived - free

B. Nominal charge ~ $17.00 per hour
Cc. Basic charge ~ $34.00 per hour
D. Commercial ~ $51.00 per hour

BACKGROUND & COMMENTS:

The Parks & Recreation Department is responsible for booking the
meeting rooms in the new library. It is strongly felt by the

Parks and Recreation Committee that these rooms be utilized for
meetings only, due to the fact that we do not have the staff who

would. clean up after a banquet, party or any other social function.
