The Municipal Council of The Corporation of the City of Port Coquitlam

will hold a Public Nearing jn the Council Chambers, Port Coquitlam City

Hall, 2272 McAllister Avenue, Port Coquitlam, B.C., on Monday, May lst,

1978 at 7:30 p.m. to consider the following proposed By-law to authorize

amendment of a Land Use Contract:

By-law No. 1595: To authorize the Council to enter into an
Amendment Decument to Land Use Contract No. 18 with Kingsway Development
Ltd., 1193 Kingsway Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. and McDonald's Restaurants
of Western Canada Ltd., Ste. 400 - 6400 Roberts Street, Burnaby,

'B.C., in the form and to the extent set forth in "Land Use Contract
No. 18 - Amendment Document" which said Amendment Document is
annexed to and-made part of the By-law and the said Amendment

Document shall extend to and shall regulate the development and use

of land described in Land Use Contact No. 18.

The Amendment Document to Land Use Contract No. 18 would
permit the McDonald's Restaurant, operated by McDonald's Restaurants
of Western Canada Ltd., at the northeast corner of Lougheed Highway
and Oxford Street to extend its parking area northward for approximately
112' so as to include Lot 315, District Lot 466, Group One, Plan
51224, New Westminster District in the restaurant site and thereby
provide 63 additional parking spaces. The use of "parking" would

be the only use permitted on the said Lot 315.

Copies of the proposed By-laws may be inspected in the Office of
the City Clerk, Port Coquitlam City Hall, at the address given above,
between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4330 pem. - on working days ~- from
April 20th to May Ist, 1978.

All persens who deem their interest in property affected by the

propased By-law shall be afforded an opportunity to be heard at the

Public Nearing on matters contained in the By-law.
